If dogs could talk, I’m sure they’d have a thing or two to say about the dangers of preservative sulphur dioxide in pet food. As a vet, I feel a sense of responsibility to speak on behalf of all animals by educating dog owners on dietary nutrition and preventative health care. The tragic effect of hidden nasties such as sulphur dioxide has recently come into the media spotlight. This serves as a timely reminder for all dog owners to develop good habits during meal times, making informed decisions for the long-term health of their pets. Read the full article below.

The Sagitarius pooch is never afraid to get their paws (or snouts!) dirty, and this month is no exception. A renewed passion for backyard digging will reap generous rewards, so be sure to sniff out new opportunities. It’s a dog-eat-
dog world out there, so stay on guard after the 19th, as an old neighbourhood rival presents some unexpected challenges. When it comes to old enemies, sometimes it’s better to just let sleeping dogs lie. After all, tomorrow is
always a new dog day, and there’s plenty of summer fun to look forward to! |

Abbie is just a typical Aussie surfer, but with one small catch… Abbie is a dog! Not only does this Australian Kelpie compete in surf tournaments, she recently beat the Guinness World Record for the longest wave ever surfed by a dog, holding the new title of 60 meters (65.62 yards). Not bad for a dog (or most humans for that that matter)! |
